Huawei will release the Mate X phone on November 15

After much delay, Huawei's foldable phone, Mate X, is almost ready to hit the shelves with the Chinese market headed for the first time.
According to Engadget, Huawei will release Mate X in China on November 15 for 16,999 yuan (about 55.84 million dong). This price is much higher than what consumers pay for Galaxy Fold is about 46.4 million.
With Mate X, users will get access to 5G connectivity. It also integrates 8 GB RAM and 512 GB internal memory. Although Huawei does not provide customer support services like what Samsung has done with the Galaxy Fold, users can also use the screen repair service from Huawei for about $ 380 (8.82 million) - which is essential for products with fragile screens like Mate X.
Besides, Huawei also suggested that the Mate Xs model is slightly upgraded with the newer Kirin 990 chip (instead of the current Kirin 980) and has built-in 5G connectivity. This product will be launched in March 2020.It's unclear when Huawei will deploy the Mate X outside of China, but the company says its release strategy will depend on 5G deployment in different regions and the strategy. International launches are "under review".
It is known that Mate X will not have the option to run applications from Google due to the impact of the ban from the US so it will be difficult for products to reach markets outside China.
