PEANUT TOFU
Ingredients
Sauce
4 c. (60 mL) soy sauce
3 c. (45 mL) peanut butter
2 tbsp. (30 ml) honey
1 C. tea (5 ml) vinegar
A few drops hot sauce (no matter which one)
Jumped up
350 to 450 g (1 block) of tofu
2 tbsp. (30 ml) olive oil
1 C. (5 mL) sesame oil (optional)
1 onion, cut into half-rounds
2 peppers, cut into strips
2 zucchini, cut in slices
Salt pepper
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients of the whip sauce. Book.
- Cut the tofu into small cubes and put it in the sauce.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté onions in 2 tbsp. oil and sesame oil until softened and brown a little (3-4 minutes). Add the peppers and zucchini, and continue cooking until they lose their tone (2-3 minutes). Salt lightly and pepper.
- Pour the sauce and tofu over the vegetables and stir for 1 to 2 minutes. Adjust the seasoning and serve.
