The dogs are teaching assistants at the University

Dogs have joined Middlesex University to help students with stress in exams and homesickness.

Five Labradors dogs have been trained to be simple assistants, to reduce anxiety and prevent college dropouts. Dogs even have their own ID, to ensure they are part of the teaching team and receive university benefits
Finona Suthers, head of clinical skills at the university, said: “It is difficult to assess the impact of having just one dog in the corner of the classroom. However you may feel the stress level decrease. ”
"It is great and we would love to continue and expand what we are doing."
This idea came after the University of East Anglia recently gave students the opportunity to take notes for a walk in an attempt to solve stress in exam purchases.
And last month, Sir Anthony Seldon, assistant principal of Buckingham School, said that every school should have pets or other pets to reduce classroom stress.
