Tuna curry with Thai style
The day before, I was sitting casually watching a Thai clip making fish cake from canned tuna, so I translated and compiled it and cooked it. The results were quite satisfactory, the fishball has a strange aroma, combined with sweet and sour sauce with cucumber, it is quite delicious, fun and happy, completely different from the familiar style of fish cake in Vietnam that we ever ate. In addition, canned tuna on his side is relatively much, cheap price. Buying and making salad is always boring so I will take this opportunity to have more new dishes of different styles 🙂 The method is relatively simple, fast, about 30 minutes has food.

MATERIALS: tsp: teaspoon, tbsp: spoon, tablespoon
- 2 cans of tuna (about 200gr 1 box, choose oil or water-soaked)
- 4 tbsp red curry
- 1 chicken egg
- 1 handful of diced peas or beans (optional)
- about 8-10 Thai lime leaves (kaffir), can use regular lemon
- 5-7 tbsp tapioca flour
- fried spring rolls
Dipping sauce:
- 4 tbsp fish sauce
- 3-4 tsp sugar
- 4-5 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chili peppers (eat less spicy then give less)
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
- about 1 fist of chopped cucumber
- MAKING:
- Making the dipping sauce: Add fish sauce, lemon juice, and sugar to the bowl, beat. Adjust the sweet and sour acidity. Then add the chili, cucumber, and coriander. Leave on for 15 minutes to infuse
- Fill the strainer with tuna, filter out all the oil or water from the can, use a flat spoon to press down the oil.
- Put tuna, shredded lime leaves, red curry, diced cowpea, tapioca, and egg in a bowl. Use your hand to squeeze the mixture smoothly and evenly. The mixture is not too hard, it is also not allowed to run smoothly, but it is soft like raw rolls. If it is too dry, add some eggs, if too soft, add fish or some flour. Particularly for a lot of flour, rolls will be chewy like cakes, I personally do not eat so delicious.
- Put the oil in a pan to heat. Use a hot spoon to scoop into the palm of the hand and then shape. Fry on medium-high heat. When 2 beautiful red yellow face, take out the disc lined with oil absorbent paper.
- Eat spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce. Can sip or eat with rice
