TURKEY MEATBALLS
Ingredients for 4 people
1 lb (454 g) chopped turkey
1/2 cup (125 mL) onion, chopped
1 small carrot, peeled and cut into very small pieces
1 celery stalk, cut into very small pieces
1 egg
1/4 cup (60 mL) bread crumbs
1 C. (15 mL) cornstarch
1 C. (5 ml) garlic powder
1/4 cup (60 mL) ketchup, barbecue sauce or Hoisin sauce
Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 ° F (175 ° C).
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl; Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Shape the meat into small meatballs with your hands.
- Place the meatballs on a plate and bake for 10 minutes.
- Flip the meatballs with tongs so that they cook evenly. Put back in the oven for about 10 minutes, until they are completely cooked.
- Serve as is, or with pasta, soup, submarine, etc.
