TURKEY MEATBALLS


Ingredients for 4 people

1 lb (454 g) chopped turkey
1/2 cup (125 mL) onion, chopped
1 small carrot, peeled and cut into very small pieces
1 celery stalk, cut into very small pieces
1 egg
1/4 cup (60 mL) bread crumbs
1 C. (15 mL) cornstarch
1 C. (5 ml) garlic powder
1/4 cup (60 mL) ketchup, barbecue sauce or Hoisin sauce
Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 ° F (175 ° C).
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl; Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Shape the meat into small meatballs with your hands.
  4. Place the meatballs on a plate and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Flip the meatballs with tongs so that they cook evenly. Put back in the oven for about 10 minutes, until they are completely cooked.
  6. Serve as is, or with pasta, soup, submarine, etc.
